Sound Devices has updated the 552 firmware to version 1.10. New features include: split ear return metering, record TC to track feature, auto record on TC advance and more!! A full list of features is available on the 552 download page. Click here to download V1.10.
NOTE: The update procedure is cake (even easier than the 700 Series Recorders) but... print out and follow the install directions exactly and you'll be a happy camper. After you update to V1.10, enter the Setup menu and Sven will have you enjoying the new features pronto.
