About Turner Audio
Turner Audio is owned and operated by Buzz Turner. I started the business in 1988 because I was dissatisfied buying gear and I thought I could do it better. Before I began Turner Audio I worked as a sound person. Over the years I've done about a gazillion freelance jobs and held staff positions in teeny-tiny radio stations all the way up to the networks. I've done corporate, commercials, broadcast, ENG, and features. I draw from that experience every day. That and the fact that every day I get to talk to and learn from our customers. Real world working sound pros with real world problems. You guys keep it interesting and never dull!
Turner Audio stocks a large quantity of the equipment used for capturing sound for picture. Top brand stuff from the best manufacturers I can find. Need to send a feed to camera? Having a problem understanding word clock? Your wireless not giving you the range it used to? And hey, do you have one of those things I saw on a shoot last week?
In other words, I'm here to help you get the job done. We're open Monday through Friday from 9:30AM until 5:30PM Eastern. We take orders online, on the phone or in person here at our shop in Newtown, Connecticut. We ship daily via UPS and FedEx throughout the United States. Sorry, we do not ship to customers outside of the U.S.
